About us

Hi, I'm Rahul. I'm 33, born and raised in Delhi.

Picture a lanky, shy kid hanging out in the neighbourhood park till late, evenings wrapped up with a refreshing bunta lemon. Sundays meant cricket in the morning, followed by chole bhature, lassi, and a blissfully long nap. Those were the days!

In my 20s, I joined the 9-to-6 grind. Financial independence meant freedom to eat out, drink, and embrace every bit of rebellion I could. But suddenly, organising a cricket game felt harder than managing an event. Getting up early to play? Tougher than any math exam. Life just took over.

I became that guy - the one approaching kids with a "Bas ek ball khilado," hoping one shot would somehow relieve my corporate frustrations.

Growing up on the leaner side, my 20s brought their own insecurities. The world had its comments - "Bhai, khaana nahi milta kya?" - and my response was to overeat in all the wrong ways. Junk food, constant snacking. I gained a few kilos and felt more confident on the outside, but something was off. Sluggish, lazy, health markers all over the place. At 26, still lean, but already dealing with elevated sugar levels and high cholesterol. That one hit differently.

The pandemic gave me something I didn't know I needed - time. Time to eat better, move more, and slowly rebuild my relationship with my body.

I started keeping a log of my workouts. At first just weights and reps, but slowly it became something more - mood, energy, how I felt before and after. It kept me connected to what I was doing and why. Progress stopped being just about how I looked and started being about how I felt.

That log eventually became this journal.

I made it for anyone trying to build a better relationship with movement - not as a grind, but as something that's actually yours. I hope it helps you the way it helped me.
